Message from the Dean
School of Computing and Information Technology
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
It is with great joy and a deep sense of purpose that I welcome you to the School of Computing and Information Technology. As a community grounded in Christian values of transforming our communities through quality Christ-centered higher education, we believe that the pursuit of knowledge and innovation in technology is not only a professional calling but also a sacred responsibility.
In today’s digital world, technology holds remarkable power to shape societies, influence culture, and touch lives. As such, we are committed to preparing our students with not only cutting-edge technical skills but also a strong moral and spiritual foundation. We strive to develop professionals who are not only excellent in their fields but also guided by integrity, humility, and a heart for service.
Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” In that spirit, we encourage our students and faculty to seek God’s guidance in their work, to use their talents for the common good, and to be innovators who uphold truth and justice.
As we advance in artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, and other frontiers of computing, let us remain mindful that our ultimate goal is not merely technological progress, but the glorification of God through service to humanity.
May God bless your academic journey in this school and may your time here be marked by growth, excellence, and a deepening of faith.
In His Service,
Dean, School of Computing and Information Technology
As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:4-5
