School of Computing & Information Technology

Dean's Message

Advances in technology has always gone hand-in-hand with advances in quality of life. This spans from the days when the Egyptians used Pythagoras’s theorem to fairly share land along the Nile to today’s real-time videos being streamed on GSM channels.
The LIU School of Computing and Information Technology seeks to spur such development through advancing technology.
Delivered by state-of-the-art pedagogy, and using state-of-the-art equipment, our high-quality programs (link) and highly qualified staff (link) are carefully assembled to give current and prospective students a powerful academic experience and a much-needed springboard into the industry.

We are engaged in several research projects which are distributed among the research tracks of the school. Whether you are an undergraduate student, graduate student, or a researcher, the School of Computing and Information Technology is the right place for you. Please come and work together with us. The short time that you will be with us will be so worthwhile that you may wish for it to be extended for a longer time or even indefinitely!

As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.  1 Peter 2:4-5
