Word from the Director, Quality Assurance and Research
LivingStone International University exists to “Transform Africa through quality, Christ-Centered higher education”. Our goal is to provide quality education that suits international standards and addresses current development challenges facing Africa. The Directorate of Quality Assurance and Research is charged with the responsibility of promoting quality standards in the performance of all university activities through monitoring and evaluating adherence to policies and procedures, preparation of long-term and annual improvement plans and providing feedback to the different departments in the university about performance standards. We also oversee and promote the quality of Research in the University.
Our vision is “To become a leading University in providing wholistic solutions to the development problems facing Africa” while our Mission is “To Promote excellence in academic service delivery through quality teaching and research and community outreach using a Christ-centered approach”.
We are working towards promoting competitiveness of our University through providing quality education in order to produce quality graduates that are holistically developed to transform the communities and societies around them. We do this through providing a favorable learning environment, promoting quality teaching and research; and with emphasis on improvement, student centeredness, innovation and use of modern technology.

With our philosophy of systemic growth, Christ-centeredness, teamwork and collegiality and independence of Quality Assurance mechanisms, we are working towards ensuring quality education standards. We work with all departments and sections of the University to ensure integrated growth and development. Our main tasks include but are not limited to the following:
