Applicants Requirements

1

Applicant for a Degree or a Diplom programmes

Applicants for degree programs should hold at least EITHER:

UCE & UACE certificate with at least two principle passes, OR Diploma from a recognized institution of Higher learning, OR A pass in mature age examination

Applicants for diploma programmes should hold at least EITHER:

UCE certificate & UACE certificate with 1 principal pass with 2 subsidiaries OR Certificate from a recognized institution of higher learning

International applicants

All International applicants must submit their respective academic documents/results to Uganda National Examination Board( UNEB), or Uganda Business and Technical Examination Board (UBTEB) or Uganda Nursing and Midwives Examination Board (UNMEB)  for verification and equating to  meet the minimum requirements for qualification to diploma or degree programmes.

Certificates from non – English speaking countries must be taken to Makerere University Institute of Languages for translation into before equating commences.

Gather Necessary requirements for Admission

  1. Photocopies of academic documents (Certificates, result slips)
  2. Photocopy of valid ID for a former school  or National ID
  3. Two passport size photos
  4. Receipt or bank slip for payment of Admission fees or tuition

  1. Pay an application fee of (50,000 for a Degree, 30,000 for a Diploma, and 20,000 for a Certificate programme (s) ).
