“Education,” according to Nelson Mandela, is “the most powerful weapon which can be used to change the world.”
The thirst for education that I experienced during my trip to Sudan in 2003, a country that was in the midst of civil war at that time, inspired me to use this “powerful weapon” to effect change on the continent of Africa.
The potential for impacting Africa through education has created in me a passion to direct my career towards helping to establish a new university in Uganda in order to transform Africa through quality, Christ-centered, higher education.
Before moving to Africa I worked with KPMG (U.S.) within its financial services practice.
